As I alluded to last year at about this time, spring and summer are crazy busy for me at my day job. It begins in late March, develops into an overwhelming crash in late July and runs through August, and finally begins to subside by mid-September. When I began to prepare the Quote to Reflect Upon for October, that is when it hit me like a ton of bricks. I completely forgot to post the Quote for September!
So I decided to find a quote that represents each of my busy months. Just as a little something extra since you were left waiting for so long. :-)
April
If you want something done, ask a busy person to do it. The more things you do, the more you can do.
- Lucille Ball
May
Balance is so important in our lives. In our busy world, we can give ourselves balance between thinking and feeling.
- Yakov Smirnoff
June
Beware the barrenness of a busy life.
- Socrates
July
It is a very busy mission: every day has some major goals that we have to get through, but my experience before has been that at least in the evening, you kind of take a deep breath and look around where you are and have some downtime.
- Linda M. Godwin
August
In times of great stress or adversity, it's always best to keep busy, to plow your anger and your energy into something positive.
- Lee Iacocca
September
If your business keeps you so busy that you have no time for anything else, there must be something wrong, either with you or with your business.
- William J. H. Boetcker
